How discounting works here

Evaluation fees are close to pure margin, so firms discount heavily and often. At most firms some code is live nearly all the time, and the "limited time" framing is largely marketing.

The practical implication: you should almost never pay full price, and you should almost never wait.

What a normal discount looks like

Forex-focused firms typically run 10-25%. Futures firms discount far harder — 50-80% is routine, and paying full price for a futures evaluation is unusual enough to be a mistake.

Genuinely larger discounts cluster around known dates: Black Friday, new year, and occasionally a firm's anniversary. If one of those is a week away and you are not in a hurry, waiting is reasonable.

When waiting costs more than it saves

The arithmetic is unromantic. Waiting three weeks to save 10% on a $155 evaluation saves $15.50 and costs three weeks of an evaluation you would otherwise have started — during which you might have been funded.

Given most firms have removed time limits, the scarce resource is your attention and your run of form, not the fee. Take the code that exists today.

What a discount does not fix

A code reduces the fee. It does not change the drawdown structure, the target-to-drawdown ratio, the consistency rule or the payout terms.

An 80% discount on a firm with an intraday trailing drawdown that your strategy cannot survive is not a bargain — it is a cheaper way to lose. Choose the firm on the rulebook, then apply the best code available for it.

Dead codes

Most discount pages on the internet are affiliate pages that never remove expired codes, because a dead code still earns a click. That is the specific problem this site exists to fix: we test codes before publishing and delete them when they stop working rather than leaving them up.

If a code from our discounts page does not apply at checkout, tell us and we re-test it.

Stacking and exclusivity

Codes rarely stack. An "exclusive" code from a comparison site is sometimes genuinely better than the public one and sometimes identical with different letters. The only way to know is to compare the actual percentage, which is why we print it rather than describing it.

A reasonable rule

Pick the firm on its rules. Take the best current code for that firm. Buy now unless a known sale date is within a week. Put the discounted figure into the true cost calculator and move on.
